Flamin' Hot Cheetos ingredients


INGREDIENTS:

Enriched corn meal (corn meal, ferrous sulfate, niacin, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid), vegetable oil (contains one or more of the following: corn, soybean, or sunflower oil), salt, maltodextrin, sugar, monosodium glutamate, autolyzed yeast extract, citric acid, artificial color (including red 40 lake, yellow 6 lake, yellow 6, yellow 5), corn syrup solids, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oil, hydrolyzed soy protein, cheddar cheese (cultured milk, salt, enzymes), whey, onion powder, whey protein concentrate, corn syrup solids, natural flavor, buttermilk solids, garlic powder, disodium phosphate, sodium diacetate, sodium caseinate, lactic acid, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, nonfat milk solids, sodium citrate, and carrageenan.

Contains: Milk and Soy ingredients.

Hot Cheetos were introduced in 1991 and have exploded in popularity since then, becoming a favorite snack choice despite the their heat. Even so, Hot Cheetos are only available in Mexico and in limited regional areas in the United States and Canada.

  4. What is it that makes them hot anyways? I don't see anything that looks like pepper in the ingredients.

    2. They're artificially flavored, they're chemically made to taste spicy. If hot cheetos are literally made of red peppers, hot cheetos would be illegal due to the California law to not publicly sell stuff that is intensely hot. So everything your in hot cheetos is pure acid. Disgusting.

  5. "natural flavor" could be anything: Jalapeno, Serrano, Habinero, etc.
